Softail Handlebars
Handlebars for Softail models: apes, drag bars, risers and hardware.
About Softail Handlebars
Harddrive leads the Softail bar list, followed by Burly Brand, Forbidden and Wild 1, with a Hofmann Designs and an ODI piece rounding it out. Apes make up the bulk of the page, and bagger bars such as the Louie-Bagger sit beside them. Tags range from 1986 to 2026, so this page serves everything from an Evo Softail to a Milwaukee-Eight Fat Boy.
Eras and compatibility
Older Softails use cable throttles and clutches, and newer bikes use throttle-by-wire and hydraulic clutches. The titles say TBW when it matters. Harddrive lists many bars for Dyna and Softail together, while Burly lists TBW and non-TBW pairs. ODI adds a part or two.
Softail models in this collection vary a lot in stance, from a low Fat Boy to a tall-barred Heritage. Rise figures are printed in titles, so compare them to your reach. Prices run from about $36 to $494, with the Burly Brand bars at the top of the range.
Vendor ranges help planning: Harddrive runs from $74 to $393, Burly Brand from $165 to $494, Wild 1 from $241 to $379 and Forbidden from $110 to $141. An ODI piece sits at about $36.
Narrow the list with Softail parts, Fat Bob handlebars, Street Bob handlebars or hand controls.
