About Street Glide Suspension
Because the Street Glide fairing mounts to the fork, any change at the front end affects how the fairing sits and moves, and the fork options here are worth reading closely. Harddrive Scepter 25 cartridge kits, FOX Street Performance cartridge kits and Race Tech Gold Valve emulators are the main choices, with Race Tech springs in several weights to set the rate.
Rear shocks
At the back, you can compare Harddrive Bazooka shocks with preload or rebound adjustment, Harddrive by Racing Bros remote reservoir shocks, FOX IFP and QS3-QSR shocks, Burly Slammer shocks in 10.5 and 11.5 inches, and Arnott air units. Hofmann billet reservoir mounts and Racing Brothers brackets are there for the remote reservoir designs. Shock extensions are available in 10mm pairs for a small ride height change.
Fitment tags span 2006 to 2026, but individual listings are narrower. The Harddrive Scepter fork kit for 49mm forks is listed for 2014 to 2024 and the 41mm kit for 2006 to 2013. Fork slider covers and hard chrome fork tubes from Harddrive round out the front end.
Prices begin under $20 for All Balls seals and wipers and under $50 for a Harddrive fork boot. Race Tech springs cost $150 to $350, Burly shocks and lowering parts $126 to $431, and FOX rear shocks and cartridge kits $800 to $1,700.
